Cata-Dyne™ explosion-proof gas catalytic heaters are available in 23 different models with BTU ratings ranging from 1,000 to 48,000 BTU/hr (0.3 kW - 14.0 kW). In addition, these heaters can be banked together to obtain any BTU (kW) rating desired.

WX Series - Explosion-Proof Infrared Gas Catalytic Heater (Standard Unit)
Cata-Dyne™ WX Series Explosion-Proof Infrared Gas Catalytic Heaters are the industry standard for space or spot heating applications in hazardous environments. These include comfort heating for industrial buildings and installations, freeze protection for equipment and components, and drying or curing processes. WX Heaters are available in over 20 different cabinet sizes (all 3" deep), with gas, electrical and accessory connections on the back of the heaters. The explosion-proof catalytic technology used in the WX Series is the most efficient in the industrial heating market, and the versatility and reliability of the WX has made it the heater of choice for many customers throughout the world.

MKII Series - Explosion-Proof Gas Catalytic Heater (Side Mount Controls)
Like the WX Series, the Cata-Dyne™ MKII Series Explosion-Proof Infrared Gas Catalytic Heaters are an industry standard for space or spot heating applications in hazardous environments. These include comfort heating for industrial buildings and installations, freeze protection for equipment and components, and drying or curing processes. The MKII features sleek side mount controls, which are ideal for quick and easy installation. MKII Heaters are available in 6 different cabinet sizes (all 3" deep), with gas, electrical and accessory connections on the side of the heaters.

The Cata-Dyne™ Slim Line Series Explosion-Proof Infrared Gas Catalytic Heaters offer the same industry standard performance for space or spot heating applications in hazardous environments as the WX Series, with the added convenience of a compact stainless steel cabinet only 1.5" thick, making it ideal for applications with space installation constraints. The versatility of this design allows it to function in both traditional installations, such as comfort heating for industrial facilities and freeze protection for equipment and components, as well as in compact enclosures for heating valves, regulators and instrumentation.

Fitted with our proprietary high temperature catalyst pad, the unit operates on either natural gas or propane fuel. It is available in 23 different models to satisfy a vast range of location and application requirements.

The Cata-Dyne™ Heating Package is the industry standard for space and spot heating applications where flammable gases, vapors or liquids may be present. Equipped with explosion-proof infrared heaters, this package comes standard or custom designed to meet any unique application. The Cata-Dyne™ infrared heaters are controlled either manually or with an integrated hazardous location control panel. Applications include comfort heating for industrial buildings, CNG or propane vehicle maintenance facilities and freeze protection for equipment and components.

AC - Enclosure Heating System
The Cata-Dyne™ Enclosure Heating System consists of an explosion-proof heater mounted within a stainless steel enclosure, providing freeze protection for measurement or regulating equipment, such as regulators, valves, meters, orifice fittings, chokes and pipelines. Enclosure Heating Systems are designed and built based on customer specifications and applications from a selection of components, including catalytic heaters, enclosures, enclosure gas manifolds, enclosure temperature controllers and enclosure pressure regulators. This system is the ideal solution for critical gas pressure reduction and/or restriction locations where electricity is usually not available.

LH - Line Heater
The Cata-Dyne™ LH Line Heater prevents equipment freezing and possible hydrate formation during pressure reduction at natural gas regulating sites. The Cata-Dyne™ Line Heater heats the gas stream using infrared radiant heat transfer, eliminating the use of burners, glycol fluid and high maintenance heat exchange systems. It is also used to condition fuel gas for natural gas fired turbines or engines, and for heating of gas and diluent streams in a variety of process applications. Custom engineered units for non-standard applications are available. As a subset to custom engineered units, only CCI Thermal offers a Catalytic/Electric Hybrid Line Heater. A secondary electric gas circulation heater augments the capabilities of the base catalytic line heater providing enhanced responsiveness to gas flow transients and deeper turn-down capabilities.

SS - Sure Seal™ Pipeline Systems
The Sure Seal™ Pipeline System is a unique infrared heating system consisting of a number of Cata-Dyne™ explosion-proof catalytic heaters (the hottest catalytic gas heater on the market) mounted in a clamshell frame configuration to provide a safe and fast method of applying heat to the construction and maintenance of pipeline systems of various sizes (greater than 2" diameter).

The Orifice Fitting Meter Enclosure heats an orifice fitting directly. The enclosure has an easily accessible entry for the orifice fitting adjustment. The assembly is designed to heat natural gas passing through the orifice to prevent icing and the dropout of liquids.
